Paper wedding fans for guests
Our paper fans fold on the same bamboo sticks as the fabric ones, natural or black, 21 cm (8.3 in) or 23 cm (9 in) long. Paper is the one you can print on both sides: your names and design on the front, and on the back, if you like, a thank-you or a few words for your guests. Fabric is softer and lasts longer, printed on the front only. Wooden fans, printed or cut out, are made on request.
Fan and ink colours
Fan: white, ivory, pale yellow, mustard, orange, red, pink, fuchsia, mauve, lavender, sky blue, teal, seafoam, green, lime green, black, burgundy, blush pink, purple, aubergine, azure blue, turquoise, navy blue, sage green. Ink: black, white, gold, silver, navy blue, burgundy, sage green, terracotta, blush pink. Choose the fan colour the way you would choose your invitation paper, and the ink like a signature. For a wedding full of flowers, look at Peonies, Poppies, Vintage Roses or Cherry Blossom.
Printing and engraving
The design and your text are printed in a single ink colour, for a crisp line. Gold and silver are hot-foil stamped and catch the light. As an option, text laser-engraved on the outer guard, with no ink: it rests in the palm of the hand and never wears off.
How many fans should I get for my wedding, and what do they cost in bulk?
One fan per guest, plus 10% for last-minute additions. Prices for fabric fans with no extras, excluding VAT, with the 10% online discount and UK delivery included.

The longer your guest list, the gentler the price per fan: from £4.60 excl. VAT on small orders down to £1.62 excl. VAT on the largest. Your delivery date is checked before you pay.

Wedding Fans is a small wedding stationery house, not a marketplace. We draw the designs, prepare every proof and check it before sending it to you. You write to a real person, by email or WhatsApp, and that same person writes back.
How to display wedding fans at your wedding
Lay a fan on every chair before the ceremony: your guests find it as they sit down, and the first thing they do is open it. You hear the fans unfold, row after row, and everyone keeps cool through the vows. For a drinks reception in the sun, a basket by the entrance with a small "help yourself" sign is all you need. At the wedding breakfast, tucked beside each place setting in its bag, it becomes the favour everyone takes home.

We make two kinds, on natural or black bamboo, 21 cm (8.3 in) or 23 cm (9 in) long: fabric, softer and longer lasting, printed on the front; and paper, printed on both sides, so a note can wait for your guests on the back. Wooden, lace or organza fans are made on request.
How much do wedding fans cost?
For 100 fabric fans with no extras, £2.63 excl. VAT each excluding VAT, with the online order discount. The price drops as the quantity grows, from £4.60 excl. VAT between 50 and 99 fans to £1.62 excl. VAT from 800 fans. Engraving, tassel, cord and bags are added per fan, and the designer shows the exact total straight away, delivery included.
Where can I buy bulk wedding fans for guests?
Right here, from the people who design them. Order from 50 to 1,000 fans online, all printed with your names, and the price per fan goes down at each tier. You receive a free proof within 24 working hours, before anything is made. For a larger quantity or several designs at one wedding, tell us about your project.
Can we use our own wording, a logo, or order wooden fans?
Yes. The three lines of text are yours to write, and each one is optional: names, date, venue, a short phrase. For a logo, a monogram, a wooden or lace fan, describe your project and we reply within 24 working hours with a quote.
What is the best small fan for a bride?
The same folding bamboo fan as your guests', set apart by a detail: a different fan colour, black bamboo, or text laser-engraved on the outer guard, the stick you hold between your fingers. The laser marks the bamboo without ink, so the words never wear off: your names, the date, or a single word. A lace fan for the bride can be made on request.
How does payment work?
Whichever way suits you. Pay by card when you order, and production still waits for your approval of the proof. Or pay nothing yet: the proof is free and comes with no obligation, and you pay once you approve it, by card (secure link) or bank transfer. Either way, nothing is made without your written approval.
Where do you deliver, and how much does it cost?
Across the United Kingdom and to many other countries, by tracked courier. Delivery depends on the quantity: £20.01 up to 99 fans, £36.54 up to 199, £54.81 up to 499, £107.01 up to 1,000 (excl. VAT). You see it in the designer total, then on your proof. Order six to eight weeks before the wedding and you can relax.
What if there's a typo in our names?
That's exactly what the proof is for. You get it before anything is made, with two rounds of amendments included: read the names, the date and the phrase again with fresh eyes. Beyond that, we talk it over before charging anything. A typo left on an approved proof can't be reprinted free of charge.
